Bath Salts are Now Illegal in Alabama

I’m not sure what bath salts are but apparently they can be used to make illegal narcotics and thus the state of Alabama has banned them [PDF]. You know, because banning anything that can be used to manufacture illegal drugs makes total sense.

That was sarcasm in case you didn’t catch it.

  1. From what I understand, these things are manufactured from the beginning to be drugs, and sold as ‘bath salts’ or ‘plant food’ in the same way that crack pipes are sold as a ‘novelty rose’ or ‘for tobacco use only’. This isn’t ordinary bath salts, in other words.

Should be legal for adults to buy anyway,
